We are seeking an experienced Executive to help manage Post Production of Netflix’s content, including fiction and unscripted TV and films. The role (Manager, Post Production Management) is a permanent position that will report to the Head of Production - Italy, based out of Rome. The Production team is responsible for supervising all operational aspects of the titles produced for Netflix Italy and plays a key role in executing Netflix’s content and production strategy in Italy, working collaboratively with the different Netflix departments.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Work closely with Creative Executives to set up new productions by reviewing and approving Post Production Partners, key Post Heads of Departments, Post schedules and budgets, to flag possible issues and identify solutions;
- Work with different Netflix departments & external production teams on establishing Post Production workflows across multiple projects simultaneously and support key stakeholders by providing the context and/or expertise in business-critical decisions;
- Support the Head of Production and the Production team to develop, communicate and implement an operational strategy for the local slate of Netflix projects;
- Regularly align with Netflix colleagues across EMEA and the Globe to share best practices and integrate new learnings from other regions;
- Identify industry trends and potential opportunities for operational improvement;
- Implement and support Post Production training initiatives;
- Challenge existing approaches, and suggest new ways to solve issues on various productions, providing context and frameworks to simplify and inform their operations;
- Build and maintain a strong connection with the industry and BTL talents;
- Inspire and lead broader initiatives, such as post-production resource planning and local below-the-line (BTL) training initiatives;
- Support Italy Head of Production in developing a post-production strategy and road map for the Country that aligns with regional and global priorities;
- Establish a strong understanding of Content Planning;
- Partner with local, regional and central teams (e.g., Production Solutions, Finance & Strategy,Title Ops, Asset Management and Localisation, etc.) to implement initiatives requiring Post-functional support in Italy;
- Provide thought-partnership and support the alignment of tools, systems and processes within the larger team and Netflix;
- Work with other internal Netflix teams and external production partners to define dailies and post workflows, such as HDR/SDR colour pipelines, master delivery and final archive;
- Provide notes on post production requirements, flagging any potential issues;
- Review and vet Post budgets and schedules, providing feedback internally and externally on viability and risks;
- Track and manage all post related costs, keeping stakeholders apprised of status;
- Work with filmmakers to ensure a smooth & friendly experience of working with Netflix;
- Troubleshoot and communicate all changes to the schedule to internal/external teams.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to identify and seize opportunities to drive efficiency and innovation, inspire and motivate teams to achieve shared goals, and communicate effectively to ensure alignment and trust across all levels of the organization. This is a demanding and fast-moving position and a successful candidate will be proactive, innovative, self-driven, and able to juggle multiple and diverse responsibilities with a strong emphasis on organization and attention to detail at all times, have great judgment and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications:
- Experience of having worked on low to high-budget productions;
- The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of and hold relationships within the Italy post-production community;
- Access to a roster of high-quality vendors and talent in Italy and strong familiarity across the Italian production market;
- Confident communication style, able to build relationships within a diverse team;
- Ability to handle a fast-paced environment assessing post management across several projects in various points of production (from development through delivery);
- Flexible attitude to work, able to respond to urgent or important matters in a timely manner;
- Familiar with the current trends and workflows for HDR, 4K and Atmos;
- Willingness to continue learning to ensure understanding of the advancing post-production process;
- Strong stakeholder management skills with an ability to build extensive and productive working relationships with key people both within the organization and across the external media industry;
- Ability to be discrete and maintain confidential information, with a solid understanding of how to prioritize and respond accordingly;
- Fluency in both written and spoken Italian and English is required;
- Proficiency in the Google Suite of apps (Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Gmail, Calendar) and PIX a bonus.
